Carolyn Yates informed by her BFA in dance, her 800+ combined hours of certifications from various schools including Prana Flow Yoga and Jivamukti Yoga. Carolyn’s classes reflect her extensive knowledge of the body combined with her playful, dance-like sequences and devotional intention. She has been teaching yoga since 2002 and draws inspiration from the many teachers she’s blessed to study with including Sharon Gannon, David Life, Shiva Rea, Shannon Paige and Alanna Kaivalya. Carolyn is passionate about the study of movement and loves to cross reference her yoga and dance backgrounds bringing her students a fresh take on learning how to be in their body and move with awareness and joy! Her greatest insight from her 15+ years of practice is the revelation that we are all deeply interconnected and more powerful than measure!
