Sharon Bailey’s kundalini class is for all bodies. It will be a full-body work out, so alert Sharon before the class if modifications are needed. Bring your own yoga mat, sheep skin, blankets, water etc.
The current state of our world can cause us to easily fall into overwhelm, shut down and even become apathetic. When our sympathetic nervous system is regularly activated, we become aggressive or run away, neither of which roots us in empathy. We can not sustainably work to make change inside and out without caring for our nervous system. In this class we will root down to actively nurture and repair our nervous system with Kundalini Yoga. When you care for your nervous system, you make space for empathy and the strength needed to care for our Mother Earth. You will leave this workshop with an understanding of how to develop your own home practice which includes a copy of the kriya and a call to action.
Bio: Sharon Bailey has been practicing kundalini yoga for seventeen years and teaching for seven. She is building a business supporting women in sustainable wellness and birth work. Sharon planted roots in Paonia six years ago and has made a home here with her husband Ryan and their son Fox where she is working to serve her family, community and the earth.
